Just think.....if Gore had won the election in 2000, we would have missed all the good stuff." But if Gore had been elected, unspeakable things would have happened. I can't speak about them because I don't know what they are... I'll tell you one thing.....those unspeakable things would have been so perverse you would have begged to have Bush as president. Gore would have continued Clinton's efforts to balance the budget, encouraged the nation to wean itself off oil, worked to clean up the environment; proposed planting trees everywhere; tried to negotiate peace between Israel and the Palestinians; prevailed upon the Israelis to not bomb Lebanon, etc. Can't you imagine? The GOP would have been in pure disgust and would have impeached him in his first year! Thank our lucky stars that we avoided that horror.
