my personal life experience tells me otherwise. I lived 25 years in India, have muslim family and friends, lived in the middle east 2 years, learnt arabic with the help of arab colleagues. I personally do not practice any religion.

While only 17 per cent of over-55s said they would prefer to live under Sharia law, that increased to 37 per cent of those aged 16 to 24.

If the question were asked to 16 to 24 year old Christians in the USA

"Would you prefer to live under Christian law, yes or no?",

I think you'll get way above 37% answering 'Yes'.

Does that mean most American Christians are not "moderate"?
