KLP, if you can't respond to my post on Iraq, say so. It's just silly to reply to a post that discusses the fallacy of the primary assumption in Iraq by saying, in essence, "Yeah but what about Bosnia, and Clinton's response to Al Queda, and our involvement in Nato?"

Why don't you read my post again and tell me where I'm wrong?

In view of what we've learned about the Sunnis and the Shiites in Iraq, I'd really like to see you tell me what "group" you want to empower in Iraq and why you think they'll run the country in a way that will advance our interests.

But you won't, will you?

Every time the subject moves that far you'll bring up Clinton, or Kosovo, or the how we're going to see another big terrorist attack and that life, as we know it, will end.

It's getting to be a waste of time even trying to move the discussion past the trees and to the forest. Ed
