I actually can agree with 90% of what Pillar says. It's that last 10% that's a doozy. He always has the whiff of 16th century Catholic priest outraged at Luther's heresy to me.

It's clear that was and is a very deep ideological divide between how most of the Bush administration view foreign policy and how the CIA view it. The rest boils down to the power struggle, when all the shouting and name-calling is done.
