Interesting post, Mq....You manage to be lighthearted about a serious subject, and serious about a serious subject at the same time. I'm often in awe of your talents in that arena. Regarding your "new" NUN....how do you think it would work and with what people at the helm of what countries...? I do agree with you that we need to start over in the UN department.... The organization is just nothing, but a tea party. It's so bad that the Democrats in the US decided that they could and should pass meaningless Resolutions as well. And spend a good of time, and a GREAT Deal of money doing it, to say nothing of wasting a HUGE amount of time. The biggest objection that many Americans have to a World Government is just that....what countries in the world have done a great job with their assets and citizens in just under 300 years...??? There are MANY countries in the world who have done nothing at all for their citizens, except rob them of their natural wealth, and keep them in thrall for centuries.... I certainly don't want any of them making decisions for me. I truly think it is a major miracle that we in the US have 50 States, many of which are larger than many of the World Countries, and in the US, we get along with each other for the most part. We do not want a George Soros, or Hillary Clinton type-one world, one government world. Africa for instance has had civilization for thousands of years, and so has China, Central Asia, South America, Central America, and of course, most Middle Eastern countires have as well. ...What have any of these Countries done for their people?????
