"I never even heard of him before till your post." He ran for President once before, under the Libertarian Party banner. "I will be surprised if he makes any national debates." Unless the debates are RESTRICTED to, say, just the top two or three in the polls, then he surely will be in many (if not all) of the Party debates... for he is as qualified as any of the other candidates (a True Conservative Republican Congressman from Texas for many years now)... and, (unlike some, perhaps) actually has interesting things to say. He is a small government, low taxes, keep the government-off-the-people's-backs kind of TRUE CONSERVATIVE... of the sort that used to be known as "Goldwater Conservatives", and is now mostly called "Western Conservatives".
