Not idle thought processes at all: Galilao, Newton, Einstein, Hawkings and EC all did/do the same thing. Slan, is appreciative of idle thought processes, but he has SI Dave, ever the curmudgon, much like the church during Galilao's time, consumed with ferreting out heresy i.e. any OT post and threatening Slan and the rest of us with house arrest, or worse, if we do not desist in our heretical ways-lol. So we mix our important posts relating to the meaning of life and the functions of the universe with banal ideas regarding which stocks to buy to make money. Fortuanately, most of us here know just enough about investing in mining stocks to throw Dave off the scent so we can insert an important idea between our more shallow thinking regarding which stocks to buy and why. The other quality the above great men possessed was that they were all rebels willing to stand against mind numbing conformity. Although they all suffered for their behavior-lol.
