18 year olds with limited means acquire handguns all the time. That's not tough to imagine.

Valid logic depends on good data. Where there is no data, or bad data, you can try to apply logic, but if you've chosen the wrong imagined data, the answer won't matter, even if your logic is brilliant.

At any gun show in Utah? Or, he might have bought it through a classified ad in the paper. People are SUPPOSED to go through a gun dealer and do due diligence, but rarely actually DO. Utah is pretty loose with guns.

Not to long ago, the big question was whether the University of Utah could legally prevent students from packing their concealed carry pistols to class - I think the pistol packers WON. After all, it's in the CONSTITUTION!

I was amazed that the only person to whip out a pistol in response was an off-duty cop.
