Wilson is mentioned here too. Not sure that's reliable stuff. I don't think we can agree about Iraqi officials and Niger. I'm thinking the evidence for any deal looks pretty darn shaky, and the aluminum tube stuff was ridiculous. Actually a lot of what passed for intelligence was ridiculous- but that was sometimes noted along with the intelligence, but somehow those notes got "lost" along the way.

We'll see what comes out in the future, but if there was a straw to cling to here the administration would have used it for exculpation- and they haven't. I'd be willing to place a small bet there is absolutely nothing to the story. In 50 years when this stuff is declassified maybe we'll know the truth.
