I thought rightwingers were afraid of big government. I like rightwingers who are afraid of big government...where are they hiding these days?

I believe the species that we knew as "conservatives" is extinct. I don't see any conservatives on this thread. What I see is a bunch of people that look to see whether the letters GOP are at the end of the politicians name. After that, they just wait to get the word of what they're supposed to be saying.

Big government, fiscal responsibility, America's belief in the individual and keeping government out of people's live ... all gone.

IMO, the most recent and striking example was wrt North Korea. Bush strikes fundamentally the same deal that Clinton had and all the "conservatives" on this thread seem to be happy puppies.

It is only a myth that everyone knew who she was because even her neighbors had no idea.

It wasn't some conservative who said "everyone knows who she is" - it was veteran (liberal) reporter Andrea Mitchell, aka Mrs. Alan Greenspan. Later she tried to backpedal, but it was rather awkward as she had made her statement on TV with the cameras rolling.

As for the horribleness of outing a NOC, etc and so forth, are you suggesting that Richard Armitage outed her for some nefarious political purpose? If so, what could it be?
