re: defeat and occupation of Iraq

Our "defeat of" and "occupation of" Iraq. Sorry you misunderstood, maybe the "and" part threw you.

Perhaps you meant "our victory in the war with Iraq and subsequent occupation of their country"?

So then, Elroy, even as you win at a game or anything else for that matter, based on the comment up above, you don't stop and take home the trophy; instead you expect to keep playing well into the future. You must lead a very frustrating life.

Bottomline: The US has not won in Iraq. That's why we are still there. However, if you want to go onto an aircraft carrier and put up a sign saying Mission Accomplished.......I am sure no one will stop you. In fact, you might want to fly a jet to the carrier.......it would make the whole event seen very kewl....a major photo op in fact!
