You missed it because it didn't happen. I was pleased he showed up, and I wish he would post more often, although his stated purpose last time was to "needle" JohnM- so this time when he posted again to do the same thing I asked him if he could do something other than that. I thought he should come and talk rather than needle. To say that is not to treat someone badly, it is to explain the operation of the forum. Had Lindy asked me to refrain from any topic, or to change my posts on his thread, I would have- and been happy to comply- not that I came to needle anyone, or to be rude. If you ask him, I am sure he will tell you I tried to engage him and asked him to stay. He told me he feels threads aimed at the center won't work- so he doesn't believe in cross the aisle dialog. I hope he changes his mind, and I told him that.
