Nice words again today. Thank you. Had the first chance since before Christmas to get on my deck and use my gas grill. Did a wonderful tented rib eye last night, twice baked spud with lotsa cheese and Smart Balance spread. Added some steamed Brussels Sprouts for greenery. Hoping I can get out now with winter winding down and do that more often. Although, we're supposed to get more weather later today, so I may be getting ahead of myself.

HONOR FIRST - *respect, beauty, serenity Thank you! I find serenity surrounds me when I look at the beauty of God's world which I respect... and enjoy and about which I am continually amazed. I watched ice melt yesterday. Actually! Different animals formed on our deck as the sun melted the ice. We had a panther stretched out long and lean with a magnificent face, an eagle with his head turned and a beak ready to clean his feathers, a chipmunk trying to crawl up the railing. Also a lethal shard of ice fell from it's position over the grill and I watched it slowly 'die' in the sun. Yes... I did do other things ;) however the ice formations were magnificent so I had to check them a couple of times :)

Thanks! Perfect today for "moi".... Today, was in a program for George Washington's Birthday celebration at the UofW...Quiet on campus....the Holiday.. In fact, the traffic was wonderful everyplace. Not too many people on the roads....We took the Grandkids and a son...got to hear all sorts of American early 1900's to 1930's ragtime music, and of course American Patriotic music as well.... It was a pleasure and a comfort to hear of George Washington's wisdom of the past delivered to us by a Captain, US Navy (Aviator) Ret., KLP - comfort, wisdom, pleasure*
