And it drove the American left absolutely insane, to the point it can longer read (else it would know "non-binding resolutions" mean and accomplish nothing, all budget bills must originate in the House which it controls and it can stop funding there, but lacks the cojones to actually commit itself, leading people to be unwilling to make important decisions, and still shows its famous ability to form a circular firing squad), and as in Vietnam, scene of Johm Kerry's famous acting scenes, claims to support the troops while stabbing them in the back on the home front at every opportunity. Funding of the Iraq war? Put up or shut up.
