I always get a laugh out of the expression "it's for the troops". My guess is less than 1% of each $100B increment goes to anything remotely associated with "its for the troops". Since 2001, every weapons program and base siting plan previously confined to the file cabinet has been resurrected as "for the troops". The Islamists have their suicide bombers and the US has its front line grunts - each blindly fighting for their "just" cause - a cause manipulated by their respective handlers. They are beneath the role of pawns in a grand game of deceit perpetrated by the promoters of war on both sides. wg PS - Support the Troops but keep them in Iraq until Victory ! Talk about Stupid !
