News for 'SIRI' - (DJ XM Canada Responds To XM Satellite/Sirius Merger

XM Canada is reviewing the proposal by XM Satellite Radio Holdings
Inc.
(XMSR) and SIRIUS Satellite Radio Inc. (SIRI) after the two U.S.
companies
announced plans to merge their operations earlier Monday.
As reported, XM shareholders will receive 4.6 common shares of SIRIUS
for share of XM they own.
Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (XSR.T), which operates as XM
Canada through its subsidiary, Canadian Satellite Radio Inc., said it
will
review the possible alternatives available to Canadian Satellite Radio
to
benefit its customers and shareholders.
Its stock closed up 27% in Toronto Monday, at C$8.44.
