Your assertion that India does not have patent protection for international pharmaceuticals is factually incorrect.

India is a member of the WTO, and as such, does recognize such patents, retroactive to 1995.

As for the Dalai Lama, what he says about the heads of states engaged in wars in general is that they can't kill all their victims alone, they need armies.

Which is so obviously true as to be a truism, and thus, we really don't need the Dalai Lama to tell us this.

It's equally true for good heads of state as it is for bad heads of state, it's equally true for just wars and unjust wars.
