Perhaps not. What's your point? My point is that it is not a logical fallacy or even inconsistent at all to say

1. 1998-2002- Lets destroy Saddam Hussein, and
2. 2007 - Lets leave Iraq now.

Do you agree, or not?

If you agree with that, why do you keep bringing up the fact that people who are opposed to the current US military presence in Iraq today voted to go to war in 2002?
