You are asking that question of a person who knows how to put tomatoes in the ground and doesn't anymore for she has a neighbor who LOVES to put tomatoes in the ground and share them with everyone. :) Daughter has tried different items in her yard but the deer love them. The past few years they have had a fence, but even so animals seem to know how to retrieve a great deal of what comes up. She hasn't tried brussel sprouts probably because I did not serve them except as something to experience while they were growing up, just as she does not serve peas. Peas were 'her' nemesis... LOL... Peas can be found in napkins also ;) I, on the other hand, love peas, fresh green beans, almost all vegies!
