If you have positive articles to post on islam to "enlighten" the rest of us igggnurint extremists, this is your chance to do so. I would think anyone given such an opportunity would grab it. Re: Do you object to me using the term because it has become more of a taboo in our culture than the actual actions of prejudice toward others? Or do you object because you are afraid it places you in an indefensible position? I object because it is simply not true. I can and will work with anyone. And anyone who upholds our laws of course I welcome as a fellow American. All of this is not even in question. And I have also traveled to and befriended muslims in islamic countries. I would love to see Petra, but the events of 9/11 and henceforth preclude me from doing this. So IOW, your claims against me are wholly untrue. I am against the terrorists, the people who support them, and the myriad corrupt governments in the middle east teaching hate. This is a lot to be against, but it is not all.

Re: If you believe that all Muslims are deserving of disdain, and that the proper thing to do is incite others to have disdain for all Muslims, and you are willing to stand behind that position when I challenge you on it then I would have some respect for you I have said time and again it is not ALL msulims by any account. What I am saying is that there is a problem within islam. My guess is that if this conversation was being held 60 years ago, you would call me a bigot because of things I said about Germans. Were all Germans bad? No. But the majority did not speak out against the atrocities and as such, I would have held the same position then I do now with islam. Disclaimer: I am part German am not even proud to call myself so, even though neither I nor my family had nothing to do with those horrors.
