When many Muslim nations' laws are based on their Islamic religion, what's the difference between politics and religion?


I don't think a lot of Muslim nations have laws that are based on the Koran.....well not any more than Chritian nations base their laws on the Bible. The Iranians are the exception, not the rule. This may come as a surprise to some on this thread but the Muslims I have met are as annoyed with religion as some of my Christian friends are.
