"side with democrats who view the loss of freedom of Middle Easterners as collateral damage to their struggle for US political power" Peter...I SIDE with people that are competent and do the BEST job they can. Iraq has been BOTCHED from the getgo and Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld are responsible for it. The Iraqis themselves have suffered unbelievable devastation as a result. Probably 600,000 Iraqis have been killed and close to 3 Million have been displaced. It's time to start "thinking" and forgetting all the "siding" stuff. We need some decent answers and those don't necessarily come with ANY party affiliation.
