Hmmm. There goes that century of peace. :-) That sounds like a world war. I bow to your expertise in Indian history. I know a bit; you know much.

I SUPPOSE you could call that a war between 2 European nations- -England and Portugal- -because the rest of those were colonies, not independent nations, at the time (not that India went willingly into the British Empire- -and I love the way Gandhi used English civility and restraint against them!). I'd also call that nitpicking.
