Yes, the growth of China and India contribute. Here again though I think you mix Idealology with Pragmatism. Pragmaticly; while we are draining our resources and creating enemies all over the world, China has been going around buying up resources and making deals with third world countries. China is going to overtake us as a world economiic power if we keep making mistakes such as Iraq. China is going to overtake the US regardless of what the US does in iraq or anywhere else.
