Can't blame the democrats - they haven't been in power. The republicans held both chambers of congress and the Presidency - they could have done anything they wanted. It's all about priorities; you want war to be a priority you get wars. You want education and the education of engineers and scientist to be a priority you get education. But I can blame a public system that requires far too much money for far to little production. I think that parents should be able to direct their taxes to schools that are rated by the product they produce. theadvocates.org
