A gratuitous assertion (one with no arguments or evidence to back it up) can be gratuitously denied. Of course there isn't much point, in just going back and forth saying that "natural rights exist" and then "no they don't"

Let me try a different tact. Define what you are saying doesn't exist. Its possible (even if perhaps not extremely likely) that when you think of the concept of natural rights, your thinking of something that I also would say doesn't exist.
