The people trying to blow up my granny, when she was alive and active, were the Oakland cops. And abortion clinic bombers, cuz she volunteered at Planned Parenthood. And she was a little old white woman in tennis shoes. She died before Tim McVay did his thing. And before Columbine and all those dead Amish kids.

To ignore the fact that most of the people that blow up your grandma are of a certain race or ethnic group is silly.

I sort of agree that generalizations are sometimes useful. It is only when you try to apply the generalization where things go terribly wrong.

To stigmatize several billion people for the sins of a relatively small number of people could conceivably create a lot of "collateral" damage.
