"George Tenet is one of the reasons why the CIA became a joke." Is that why Bush awarded him a Presidential Medal of Freedom? I'd assumed it was for holding his mud about the quality of the intel Bush used to pimp Iraq..

George Tenet is one of the reasons why the CIA became a joke. Maybe...i think however these guys came in with an agenda and you towed the line or lost your job. Tenet prostituted sadly himself somewhat and bush tried to buy his silence...maybe he succeeded, we'll see...Powell describes what he said at the UN just before the war as one of the worst episodes of his political life...wonder why? AL
