Of course you have a little higher profile subjects than I do. Perhaps your permanent ban philosophy is appropriate for them. There are several people who have earned bans than did not return when I lifted the ban. There are many trolls who lose interest quickly. Others leave rather than provoke continuing conflict with the moderator. I don't know what motivates them, but as long as insulting and reality impaired people stay away, I am happy. Severe untreated cases of BDS like this: Message 21859612 are best suffered on LWE subjects.
