Ok. That is a different issue then. I was just pointing out that sometimes a phrase can have currency without necessarily having racist elements attached. Now certainly there are racial overtones to the phrase "nigger rigging". And I haven't heard it in decades. But, like with the "nigger toes", it no doubt still is used in places.


For me, its not the words so much as the intent. I am not offended by nigger toes but I probably would never use the term because someone might find it offensive.
