Someone I know had some good experiences with Biostar's as well.

And there are numerous good cases and MB's with which to build your own. Aspire and Ultra make a couple of good, flexible cases.

Google reviews on them and you'll find plenty. They both come with decent power supplies.

Jim,

Last few computers I built were based on this mobo:
newegg.com

It has good enough integrated graphics for office work (6150), has a DVI connector, Gigabit Ethernet, 4 SATA2, and unlike most smaller form factor mobos, this one has 4 memory slots. All in all, very decent mobo. Just plug in a CPU and memory, and find a Micro ATX case that you like.

One issue I have found with it is, that like its Socket 939 predecessor, the DVI connector has problems with some oddball monitors. Other than that, it is all good.

Joe

<edit>If you want to play games, you will likely not care about the integrated video and get an external card (PCI-Express slot is available). If you want to overclock you CPU, than this board is not a good choice
