There is no pissing match here. I quoted you the Bible in clear support of what I had said and in contradiction of what you said. It is a matter of facts, to me anyway, rather than pride and winning.

On the issue of need for a priest to get Absolution, I don't think the Bible says much. But 3 sources that I checked said or strongly implied that you need a priest. I am being open minded here.
