Acquired as part of the Treaty of Lahore.

I must have viewed the diamond as part of my travels in 1974 in the Tower of London, though I don't recall it specifically [there were bunches of diamonds and stuff in the crown jewels].

Maybe Britain should swap the railways and some airports in India for the diamond.
