The patriots are defensive. All there existence shows is that we see some reason for concern. The increased troop strength is for Iraq. Its obviously insufficent to invade Iran.

Now if we had an army as large as it was back in the 80s, and we sent several hundred thousand more soldiers in to the area, than you might have a point.

Won't argue with that. But in an atmosphere where we suddenly decide we need to build a large number of Patriot missile batteries, increase our troop strength and position 3 carrier groups in the same area gives a pretty strong message.

And it isn't one of peace.


They are internationalizing their politics of fear.
