("Normabec") (TSX VENTURE:NMB - News), through its wholly owned Mexican subsidiary Minera Real Bonanza S.A. de C.V. ("MRB"), is pleased to announce excellent preliminary results from a surface sampling program at the Real de Catorce silver project in San Luis Potosi State, North-Central Mexico. The surface sampling is aimed at evaluating the open pit potential of the main productive structure. The program consisted of the first phase of surface sampling of the Veta Madre structure. A total of seven channel sample lines were spaced between 50 and 60 metres over 380 metres of strike length. The length of individual channel sample lines varied from 4.1 to 23.6 metres. The table below shows all results from this program. These very exciting results triggered a second phase of sampling that covers approximately 155 metres of strike length of the structure further to the south-east. This section includes the most prolific portion of the vein: the Purisima oreshoot. Sampling is now completed and results are pending (32 samples). The second phase of sampling consisted of eight extra channel sample lines spaced at between 25 and 40 metres. Individual line ranges from 3.5 to 12.5 metres. It should be noted that the Real de Catorce silver district mostly consisted of underground operations. As previously mentioned, the surface sampling is aimed at evaluating the open pit potential of the main productive structure. Results obtained so far indicate that this potential is real and that further sampling should be carried out over other structures in the district. Sampling was performed by company geologists using continuous chip samples of various lengths (approximately 10 centimetres by 2 centimetres). Samples were prepared and assayed at Chemex Lab of Guadalajara, Mexico. Methods used are Au-ICP21 for gold and ME-ICP41 for multi-elements, including silver. Detection limits for Ag are 0.2 - 100 ppm. Silver values higher than 100 ppm are submitted to method AG-AA46 consisting of aqua regia digestion with ICP-AES or AA finish (up to 1,500 ppm Ag). QAQC was performed using two silver standards and one blank being introduced alternatively (every 25 samples). Duplicates are being performed by the laboratory.
