Who was complaining about Hagel not being a conservative? My gosh to look at his record he is about as far right as one can get! Which makes his stance on the war all that more interesting. Of course with metal in his chest from VietNam, he has a different perspective than most;

Gun Control is a hot button for me too. I am a long time NRA member and I could NEVER EVER vote for anyone who would remove our 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS no matter how good he/she may be elsewise. However, Rudy explained that in his interview with Hannity to my satisfaction, and specifically stated he would support and defend the 2nd Amendment. jdn
