"Until all of us return to our roots the situation will get worse."

Agreed we are seeing the politicalization of religion, and not for the first time in history as you know. It is true that some cultures haven't been able to separate religion from political interests but some of us here in America may be doing the same thing by our reaction to it ... extremists are a tool of their opponents.

That reminds me of the 2003 movie "The Missing" starring Tommy Lee Jones.

His character had a dream in which two wolves were struggling within him for control of his spirit, one was a creature of peace and one was uncontrollably violent. He was disturbed by this dream and went to an old Indian hoping he would have the wisdom to explain it.

Jones asks, 'which wolf will gain enough strength to ultimately control of my spirit'. The Wise man answered, 'The one you feed'. Roughly recollected...

Take care,
