I have been away for a bit, certainly i think I learn more if we discuss impersonally. IMO you have taken a position, and i have a position, and with any luck they are somewhat mutable, and by discussion of a quiet and slightly dispassionate nature we can see not only each others arguments but our own. If we have opinions and never take them out an take a look at them, they get dusty and stale, because we have learned nothing. There is nothing better than someone who can put forth arguments that require us to consider our own opinions and theirs. Similarly, I only know a few Muslims, and find them much similar to the Israelis I know, aggressive, demanding and opinionated.
