I wouldn't call that "obscure", but whatever. Obviously, any attempt at reversal would be contingent upon the degree to which it *is* reversable by our efforts, and the associated costs of doing so vs. not.

To "reverse" the effects, you pretty much have to level civilization as we know it.

Or start a wholesale building of nuclear power plants. But saying these 2 things (leveling the civilization as we know it or building thousands of nuclear power plants) is not going to "earn" you an honorary degree in climatology...

To paraphrase Richard Nixon, "we are all climatologists now".

One problem with the "global warming is our fault" theory is that all the planets of the solar system are getting warmer. It's hard to figure out how Dick Cheney and Halliburton were on Mars causing their polar icecaps to melt by stealing the wealth of third Martian Countries.
