Who said I was defending the Bush administration? Of course they're lacking in diplomatic tact. That's obvious. I did...you do defend them..."lacking in diplomatic tact" LOL...considering the mess they have created, it's the kindest characterization one could envision. My beef is with the mainstream media who is obsessed with second-guessing. I don't think they really care if Iran was sincere or not in opening up genuine dialogue. It's all about criticizing Bush and calling it their "patriotic duty." For the better part of three years, the so called MSM gave these guys a free pass. Now it's obvious to everyone they did not deserve it. Besides, ignoring Iran now, in contrast to the ISG recommendations, is perfectly consistent with ignoring Iran then.
