To my knowledge the NRA has not come out in support of anyone at this time. Its still pretty early for them. jdn

That is one of the reasons why if Rudy is the Republican nominee in 2008, it will be a disaster for the Republican party. Rudy is not an idealogical soul mate of many hardcore Republicans. Many conservative leaning Independents that Rudy might draw in are inclined to vote Republican anyway. I hear from them all the time, middle aged males, who generally vote Republican anyway. Rudy will lose a lot of the Republican right, which is a big portion of the party.
