Tech101,

What does it mean by "Pressing tap and hold (right mouse button) on any screen object"?

My guess is that “pressing tap and hold” produces a result on a Pocket PC similar to that when using the right mouse button on a Windows PC. The Windows OS as well as the applications on a PC usually allow a user to select items from the drop-down menu that appears below the mouse’s arrow icon after clicking the right button on a mouse.

On page 4-4 of your manual, you’ll see a description for this…

h20000.www2.hp.com

Earlier in the description for you software, he states:

”The menu icon can be used to access the most likely tasks on the machine and can easily be tapped with your finger. (The pc version requires the mouse.)”

The author is describing both the Pocket PC version and a PC version, where the directions for the PC version are within parentheses.

You may need to tap on the icon representing the point of interest (poi) without lifting your finger or stylus. A new drop-down menu should appear that will allow you to then select that poi as a destination.

This is my best guess.
