I'm not sure any chance is long gone, but I agree it would likely be revenge time if they where put in to one country. I think a two country solution is needed.

Keep in mind that the implementation timeframe for unification is 20 years. If more time makes success more likely, make it 50 years. The idea is you take the best and the brightest of the Pal refugees into Pasrael as new citizens each year. Their lives as Pasreal citizens are theoretically going to be much better than their life as a refugee, and they're citizenship is now with the united country. Hopefully that encourages them to build the new united country, rather than get revenge and just doom the whole process. I mean obviously, if after 5 years it is only resulting in more violence, it wouldn't continue. Or at least, a 20 year implementation timeframe would turn into 200 years, with the understanding that violence against Pasrealis is the obstacle to Palestinians getting their right of return.

Since the Pasreal plan gives the Palestinians what the want - the right of return - I doubt they would try to prevent the plan's success by proving it an immediate failure because they are pursuing revenge rather than living as normal, peaceful humans.

I mean, you could grant 100 Palestinian stateless refugees Israeli citizenship, and those 100 aren't all going to turn into Israeli killers, correct? There are tons of Arab Israelis already, and they don't spend all day killing non-Arab Israelis.
