Its easy to second guess on Monday, but when Bush made the decision there wasnt a SINGLE INTERNATIONAL INTELLIGENCE SERVICE INCLUDING OUR OWN that didnt think Saddam had WMD and of course he had a record of using them. No one is happy with the way Iraq has turned out, but that doesnt make the original decision a mistake by Bush. He did what he is PAID to do, PROTECT THE USA. Now, what does the future of Iraq hold, I guess we will have to wait and see, but again EVERYONE with any knowledge of the Middle East says it would be a DISASTER to merely pull out as we did in Vietnam. So, its easy to complain, more difficult to solve. jdn
