Lebanon will most likely become a failed democracy. Whatever chance it had was probably undone by Bush's failure to rein in Israel last summer. Hizbullah started that war, without so much as a bye-your-leave to the rest of Lebanon. The rest of Lebanon knows it! The real reason to fault Israel is for their incompetence in defeating & degrading Hizbullah.

"Bush's failure to rein in Israel last summer." Reign them in? Bush was egging them on, even to the point of rushing them new supplies of cluster bombs by the jetload.
