What I should have said is that Dems have had no power or control. Kerry lost. When I contrast right and left, I'm referring to how the Democrats would have waged war on terrorism beginning with 9/11. I don't have a clue as to how well the Dems will do in trying to undo the damage the Bushies have done. Six years of compounding errors by Republicans.....the Dems have a huge task. I doubt they will actually accomplish much repair unless they can capture the White House and maintain control of Congress. Think about that. After 20 years of Republican claims that they would be the best stewards of this country if ONLY THEY HAD CONTROL.....and they get it and royally BLOW IT!!!!!! In my wildest dreams, I never thought the R's would prove to be so utterly incompetent. Truly astonishing.
