H Tom, You ask when does LSG start producing ? The best clue to the situation is in this posting from Stockhouse (poster "lorne"). It seems to make clear that a shaft will be sunk on the Timmins West project very soon (I wonder if that means "two weeks " ?)

Re: PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION – TIMMINS WEST PROJECT

Dear «TITLE» «NAME»:

Lake Shore Gold Corp. (LSG) has been exploring for gold at the Timmins West Property, which is located within the City of Timmins, just east of the Highway 144 and Highway 101 intersection.

LSG is currently preparing a Closure Plan for an Advanced Exploration program that is intended to explore the Timmins West Deposit via vertical shaft. The proposed underground exploration program includes diamond drilling, the extraction of a bulk sample and will allow the completion of a feasibility study. The Closure Plan is scheduled for submission to the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines in first quarter 2007. Construction is proposed to commence in second quarter 2007, pending the receipt of regulatory approvals.

LSG will be holding a Public Information Session regarding the Timmins West Project on Thursday March 1, 2007 between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Howard Johnson Inn and Convention Center, 1800 Riverside Drive, in Timmins. An overview of the Project will be provided from 7:15 to 7:30 PM. Staff from LSG will be available during the session to answer questions.

Sincerely,

Brian Booth
President and CEO
