The altruism in islum is if someone disagrees with you, then chop off their head or burn down their home, or both... GZ

I have read, heard stories about it and met people, who are quite altruistic Muslims. In the literature on the history of Islam we see an accounting of wars and conquerings just like we see when we read Western history. I doubt anyone would claim General Sherman for example (a hero of the civil war and American Indian Wars) was Altruistic. If you wanted to do the same (look for altruism) I believe you could and would not have to spend a great deal of time on it. I wont do it for you and you can make of that what you wish. You've challenged me to debate the merits of Islam many times and in several ways. I am not a religious scholar and am not a spokes person for Islam or any other group, and I don't debate religion. I've no problem with highlighting the worst worst of Islam on this thread. The targets of my ire are heinous acts, oppression, and injustice. I've never defended things like that and condemn them often (In spite of ZEROs claims that I don't). Go get em... just don't use that to go after the innocents and claim you are a champion of decent folks. That is my complaint with you brian. When you do, you are making yourself a tool of extremism and that is the enemy of all decent people.
