All Good points....All valid....my objective is to generate a 2% return per month return on my portfolio. This is not an easy task since I use just part of my portfolio for covered calls. And some stocks drop below my anticipated trading range.

How about if we all post each week or month what we think are the best five covered call positions at the time.

Right now I would be a buyer and a writer of STX (Seagate), GLW (Corning), NSM (National Semi.), ADI (Analogue Devices) and CHK (Chesapeake). The strikes nearest the stock price have the best premium and likelihood of a call out.

For me its all about revenue generation each and every month.
