He was campaigning for governor, and it required all our ME covert ops guys to bodyguard him, so nobody was there to gather intelligence. And Hillary was sending the plans of the Towers to the bad guys,using Gore as the courier. But wait, there's more. The San Andreas Fault has been renamed the Bill Clinton Fault. That's because when SF or LA get hit by the big one,it will be Clinton's Fault. They don't like him much. That's OK; he doesn't like them, either.

Reagan did sort of weigh in trying to clean up after Sharon's nifty little '82 war in Lebanon. Early senility, Winnie? Reagan and the rest of the multi national force went in to save Arafat's ass after the Israelis unloaded on him in Lebanon following the assassination of the Israeli Ambassador to the UK. The US had a hell of a time restraining Sharon who, in retrospect, should have been allowed to off Arafat. Perhaps a lot of the later initiatives - US-sponsored, by the way - might have worked without Arafat's obstructionist ass being present. An excellent online history of the event was writen by John Kelley. I'll let you find it. In the meantime, you, SARMAN, TZ, the hugely stupid geode00, etc., may return to your fantasies.
